By creating an account or using LoreLynx, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You own everything you write, including text you produce with AI assistance inside LoreLynx. LoreLynx stores your work to sync it across your devices. We do not claim any rights to your creative content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use LoreLynx, and if you are under 18 you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.
LoreLynx has a Free plan and paid plans, described on the pricing page. Paid plans are not on sale yet; this section applies from the day they open. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details, and Stripe's handling of them is covered by its own privacy policy. Prices are shown before any sales tax or VAT, which is added at checkout where the law requires it.
A subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings or by email. There are no further charges after that, and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Lifetime is a single payment for the Pro features for as long as LoreLynx operates. It is tied to the account that bought it, cannot be transferred, and is not a promise that the service will run forever.
Any charge can be refunded within 14 days of the payment, as set out in our refund policy. After that, payments are final and unused time is not prorated. We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will email you at least 30 days before a higher price applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first. If a payment fails, we will let you know and retry; if it keeps failing, the account returns to the Free plan at the end of the paid period. Nothing you made is deleted when a plan ends: limits apply to creating new things, never to opening what already exists.
If you choose to connect cloud AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Mistral, or Google Gemini), you supply your own API keys. These are stored encrypted in your browser and sent with each AI request so it can be relayed to the provider you selected. LoreLynx does not store, log, or share your API keys on our servers.
You may not use LoreLynx to create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates the rights of others. Anything you publish to the book feed must be your own work, or work you hold the rights to publish. We may unpublish content, hide comments, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. If you believe content on the feed infringes your rights, email support@lorelynx.app with a link to the book and a description of the claim; we remove infringing content on notice.
LoreLynx is under active development. Features may change, and the service may experience bugs or downtime. No online service is suitable as the sole storage for irreplaceable work: use Export Project regularly to keep local copies of anything that matters to you.
LoreLynx is provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data you store will be retained without loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LoreLynx and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of creative work, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $0 if you have not paid anything.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute comes up, please contact us first; we would always rather sort it out directly. A dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If the consumer protection law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived by agreement, nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
